Jagex just dropped some seriously exciting news! They’ve laid out a roadmap for what’s coming in RuneScape in 2024 AND 2025. In the latest ‘RuneScape Ahead’ video, the team walked us through the fresh content that’s coming soon. So, dive in!What’s In Store?First up is the new Group Ironman mode. If you’ve been wanting a way to tackle RuneScape with your crew, without relying on outside help, this one’s for you. Coming later this year, Group Ironman lets you and up to four of your friends dive into a brand-new adventure. No XP bonuses from outsiders, just you and your mates against the world.Next, during this autumn, get ready to face off against The Gate of Elidinis, a brand-new Skilling Boss. You’ll be scaling the Sanctum of Rebirth to uncover a hidden shrine dedicated to the mysterious goddess Elidinis. It’s part of the next big story quest.The RuneScape roadmap for 2024 and 2025 reveals that a lot of story quests are coming. Winter is bringing a fresh story quest that sees the return of some classic storylines. Get ready to head back to the Desert, where unfinished business with Amascut is heating up.Once you’ve wrapped up the Desert Finale quests, you’ll be squaring off against Amascut, the Devourer, in a brand-new end-game boss encounter.And then there are 110 skilling updates coming your way. This year’s going to see the Woodcutting & Fletching update, with a new skill tree and new weapons to unlock. While 110 RuneCrafting and 110 Crafting are set to drop in 2025.Seasonal event ‘Harvest Hollow’ is making its debut later this year. It’ll have a new quest, bone-chilling rewards and creepy seasonal activities. And when the year starts to wind down, the ‘Christmas Village’ will be back. New quests, festive activities and a sleigh full of Christmas rewards.Did The RuneScape Roadmap 2024 And 2025 Make You Excited?A new area expansion is also on the horizon for late 2025. There are a ton of player-requested features on the way, too. Like new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability and even a new Slayer Monster.So, there you have it.
