Unlocking more animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete requires you to elevate your Camp Manager Level. By reaching level 76, you'll unlock all available animals, except those exclusive to Villager Maps. As you progress, leveling up becomes increasingly challenging, making it crucial to consistently fulfill requests and engage with visitors at your campsite or cabin to maximize friendship points. Additionally, leveling up offers significant benefits, such as earning Leaf Tokens and expanding your inventory space.
How to Farm Experience
Tips for Leveling Up Fast
Interacting with animals that appear on the map can boost your friendship points by +2. Each animal comes with specific requests, and fulfilling these, along with conversing, gifting, and altering their outfits, contributes to their friendship level, which in turn helps elevate your Camp Manager level.
Keep in mind that animals don't linger indefinitely on the map; they rotate every three hours, introducing new requests. Make it a point to interact with every animal before this turnover.
Having an animal at your campsite or cabin means they'll stay until you decide otherwise. If you visit during the three-hour cycle, you'll encounter a list of visiting animals eager to chat. This is a prime opportunity to accumulate more friendship points. Opting for "Tell me a story!" might lead to selecting furniture or clothing as a gift, earning you +6 friendship points, even if the gift isn't to their taste.
Remember, to earn friendship points, you must choose dialogue options highlighted in red. For instance, selecting "Change outfit!" when it's in red grants +2 points, but this option won't yield points if chosen consecutively.
Amenities
Constructing amenities is another effective way to earn friendship points from multiple animals simultaneously. Each amenity caters to specific types, and animals of the matching type gain more experience. While the animals benefiting are randomized, ensuring your target animal is at your campsite before completing an amenity can be beneficial.
Amenities can take days to craft, but once placed, they can be upgraded with Bells and materials to continue earning points. Upgrading an amenity to level 5/max level will place it under construction for 3-4 days, so plan accordingly.
Giving Snacks
Snacks, which you collect, can be offered to animals via the "Have a snack!" option. Matching the snack type to the animal's theme maximizes points. For example, giving a natural-themed Plain Waffle to an animal like Goldie, who also has a natural theme, yields better results than giving it to a non-natural-themed animal like Agnes.
Using Gulliver's Ship, you can unlock Villager Maps from golden islands, which can be used at Blathers's Treasure Trek to collect Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats. Completing all souvenirs on a golden/villager island rewards you with x20 Gold Treats. If you have all Villager Maps, you can still earn these treats through Requests or Isles of Style. Unlike regular snacks, these treats are universally liked and give +3, +10, and +25 friendship points, respectively.
Animal Requests Tips
What Should You Give?
Utilize Pete's Parcel Service to fulfill requests in bulk. With the necessary items, you can dispatch them and earn friendship points without direct animal interaction. Most requests involve delivering items like fruit or bugs.
Some requests specify one fruit, bug, or fish, allowing you to choose the item. Opting for higher-quality items can yield bonus rewards and extra experience, along with 1500 Bells for rarer items. Consider giving:
- Perfect Fruit (excluding non-local)
- Snow crab
- Splendid alfonsino
- Amberjack
- R. Brooke's birdwing
- Luna moth
- White scarab beetle
When an animal reaches level 10 (or 15 for some), you can take on their Special Request. This involves crafting specific furniture, which typically costs over 9000 Bells and takes 10+ hours to create. Although time-consuming, completing Special Requests is a lucrative way to earn substantial friendship points.
