Clash of Clans Is Going to Make Big Changes with Its March 2025 Update

Clash of Clans is preparing for a massive update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests and removing outdated mechanics. This update will bring some of the most significant changes to the game yet.

No More Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Times!

Get ready for non-stop action! The update eliminates troop, spell, and siege machine training times, allowing for back-to-back attacks and significantly faster-paced battles. Hero recovery time is also removed, keeping your heroes constantly in the fight. This change applies to Titan League and below; the Legend League will retain its eight-battle daily limit for now. This change builds on the removal of training costs in 2022, further streamlining gameplay and removing artificial barriers.

Adjustments to Accompany the Changes

With the elimination of training times, Training Potions and Training Treats become obsolete. These items will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining potions and treats in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

Introducing the New Match Anytime System!

To ensure continuous gameplay, a new Match Anytime system will provide snapshot bases for attack when real-time bases are unavailable. These are saved versions of shielded player bases. Battles against snapshot bases function identically to normal battles, awarding loot and trophies without impacting the defender's resources. This system, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

Further Tweaks and Adjustments

To balance the increased battle frequency, the number of trophies earned per victory will be adjusted. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.

Download Clash of Clans from the Google Play Store and prepare for these exciting changes!
