How to Play 101 Okey Vip Offline
101 Okey Vip is a multiplayer game typically played over several rounds with four players. The goal is to finish the game with the lowest possible score. The winner is the player with the least points at the end of all rounds. Points are calculated based on the numbers on the remaining tiles in a player's hand (for example, a red 3 equals three points, a black 11 equals eleven points). The game ends either when the deck runs out of tiles or when a player completes their hand.
Getting Started with the Game
The game begins with a dealer who distributes 21 stones to each player, except for the player to their right, who receives 22 stones. The remaining stones are placed face down on the table, with one stone turned face up to determine the joker (OKEY piece). The game proceeds counterclockwise, starting with the player to the right of the dealer, who has 22 tiles. This player initiates the game by discarding a tile without drawing one. Subsequent players can either draw a tile from the deck or pick up the last discarded tile. If a player's hand totals 101 points, they can open their hand by placing their arranged series on the table. If unable to do so, the player ends their turn by discarding a tile. Every player must complete their turn by discarding a tile, even if they have opened their entire hand.
Joker (Okey Stone or Riziko)
The joker, or Okey stone, changes with each game. Two fake jokers represent the number one higher than the face-up tile. Jokers have a unique appearance compared to standard tiles. For instance, if the indicator tile is a blue 5, the real jokers are the two blue 6s in play, and the fake jokers are valued as blue 6.
Deals and Showing Hands
To open a hand, you need at least 101 points, achievable through sets of three or four tiles of the same number in different colors (e.g., black 5, red 5, blue 5) or a sequential set of the same color (e.g., red 7, 8, 9). Sets must contain at least three tiles. Players can add to existing sets on the table once they have opened their hand. If a player picks up a discarded tile, they must use it immediately. If they haven't opened their hand yet, they must do so with the picked-up tile, which must be part of the opened set. If the tile can't be used, it's returned, and a tile is drawn from the deck without penalty.
Doubles
Alternatively, you can open your hand by collecting at least five pairs of tiles. Once a player opens their hand with doubles, they cannot open a normal set in the same game but can add tiles to sets opened by others.
