Netflix’s Rise of the Golden Idol Is Dropping Its First DLC The Sins of New Wells

Netflix's *Rise of the Golden Idol* is set to excite fans with its first downloadable content (DLC), *The Sins of New Wells*, launching on mobile devices on March 4th. This thrilling expansion will also be available on PC and consoles, but mobile players can enjoy it for free as part of Netflix Gaming.

What's in Store?

Prepare yourself for more intrigue, crime, and the enchanting Lemurian magic. New Wells introduces a city plagued with unparalleled challenges. Homicide detective Roy Samson finds himself transferred to the notorious 9th District, a place where justice is a distant dream.

Corruption runs rampant, and crime is the norm. Teaming up with his new partner, Cliff Savea, Roy delves into a series of brutal crimes, only to uncover a much darker conspiracy. *The Sins of New Wells* introduces four new cases: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case weaves a complex tapestry of crime, deceit, and mystery. Players will need to navigate through a web of lies, uncovering who is deceitful, who harbors secrets (spoiler: everyone), and how the puzzle pieces connect.

To crack the cases, you'll interrogate predominantly dishonest characters and solve intricate puzzles. Be warned, a sense of madness pervades New Wells.

Are You a Netflix Subscriber?

If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can dive into *The Sins of New Wells* on mobile at exactly 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on launch day. Color Gray Games has teased that this is just the beginning, with at least four more DLCs planned for 2025.

*Rise of the Golden Idol* has already established itself as a leading modern detective game. With a Netflix subscription, you can access the game for free on the Google Play Store.

Before you go, don't miss our coverage on *Good Coffee, Great Coffee*, featuring realistic coffee-making challenges.
