Marvel Snap goes back to the stone age with its latest season, Prehistoric Avengers

Author : Nora Mar 19,2025

Marvel Snap's newest season, Prehistoric Avengers, is here, bringing with it prehistoric versions of the Avengers, including the first Sorcerer Supreme, Agamotto, the original Phoenix host Firehair, and more! This exciting season introduces a new card type: Skills. These cards represent actions and abilities, are banished after use (permanently removed from play), possess no power, but cost less energy to play.

Beyond the new cards, two thrilling new locations await. The Star Brand crater grants extra energy to the player with the highest power at that location, while the Celestial Burial Ground lets you discard a card and replace it with another of the same cost. Additionally, new Spotlight Caches offer a chance to acquire top-tier cards, both old and new. Expect fresh variant card art and the electrifying return of High Voltage mode to spice up your matches.

This season delves into the origins of the Avengers, exploring Odin's past and introducing Agamotto. Prehistoric versions of familiar characters like Black Panther and Khonshu also join the fray, each boasting unique and powerful abilities. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this update promises a fresh and engaging Marvel Snap experience.
