This animated series, a collaboration between Castlevania's Adi Shankar and Studio Mir (renowned for The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97), was initially announced in 2018. The first season will comprise eight episodes.
Plot specifics remain shrouded in mystery, but indications suggest the series will feature Dante, as he appeared in the first three Devil May Cry games, rather than his Devil May Cry 5 iteration. However, any direct connections to the game's storyline remain unconfirmed. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, who voices Nero in the video game franchise.
The most recent Devil May Cry game, Devil May Cry 5 (2019), marked a triumphant return for the series after a period of relative dormancy following the 2013 release of DmC: Devil May Cry. Critically acclaimed as a top-tier action game, it's highly recommended, especially for fans of titles like Ninja Gaiden Black 2.
