On January 18, the game saw the introduction of four new heroes, followed by swift balance adjustments just days later. Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now activates on units and uses half its cooldown when doing so, whereas Calico's ability, Ava, can now destroy objects she runs through.
This patch also revisited older heroes: Kelvin's health was boosted from 600 to 650, while Vendicta experienced a reduction in bullet speed from 810 to 740, and her movement speed dropped from nine to eight. In total, targeted modifications were applied to 11 heroes, encompassing both the new additions and existing characters.
Deadlock remains in its closed beta phase, with the online player count steadily holding between 7,000 and 20,000. This ongoing commitment to updates showcases Valve's dedication to refining and improving the gaming experience for its community.
