Season 2 of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* has kicked off with an exciting new feature that simplifies the grind for progression. The Camo Challenge Tracking feature is a game-changer, and here's a quick guide on how to make the most of it.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Gives Simple Access to Camo Challenge Progress
According to the patch notes for the latest *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* update, the Camo Challenge Tracking system is described as follows: "The Challenge Tracker makes it easy for players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges they’re actively working toward, but there’s another element of this system that we think players will find useful on the journey to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter: Near Completion."
This innovative feature enables players to manually select 10 camos to keep an eye on, allowing them to monitor their progress seamlessly during gameplay. No more tedious trips to the main menu just to check how you're doing. Plus, the tracker sends handy notifications about challenges you're close to completing, even if they're not among your selected ones.

How To Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6
To start tracking a challenge, navigate to the Camo or Calling Card challenge you want to monitor. Press the Y button on an Xbox controller or the Triangle button on a PlayStation controller to add it to your tracker. This allows you to check your progress on various camos and calling cards during live matches, rather than waiting until after the game to see what's next.
Even if you haven't selected specific challenges to track, the game automatically highlights those you're closest to completing. This information is always accessible if you're curious about what you're about to unlock.
You can also view the top tracked or near-complete camo and calling card challenges in the *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* lobby, under the Daily Challenge section, to see a full list of what's "near complete" and ready to be unlocked.
The journey to unlocking special camos has been made easier with the Season 2 update. Previously, you needed nine military camos to unlock a special one. Now, that number has been reduced to just five military camos, although you'll still need to unlock two special camos to get those coveted mastery camos.
There's been much talk about the overwhelming number of camos for each weapon and the challenges in tracking progress and earning headshots and kills. It's clear that Treyarch has been listening to player feedback, introducing more efficient ways to earn and equip camos, enhancing the overall experience of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*.
