Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Confirmed for January 28th

After a short delay, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions have been given a new launch date of January 28th, 2025.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC earlier this year with its enchanting blend of puzzle-solving and magical plant cultivation in the idyllic English countryside. The PlayStation port's delay, announced shortly before the original release date, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.

Whitethorn Games confirmed the new January 28th release date on January 9th, 2025. While the date is now set, a PlayStation Store page for the game remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available.

The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. Like its counterparts, it will be a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.

A Welcome Addition to PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor originally received widespread critical acclaim, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an average score of 83/100 and a 92% recommendation rate. Its calming atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and rewarding exploration have solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation is sure to enrich the platform's already impressive collection of puzzle titles.

With its launch on the PlayStation Store, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th, 2025 will also see the release of other titles on the PlayStation Store, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
