Rinascita is brimming with discoveries, including a variety of puzzles that can be quite challenging to solve. Among these, Morph Paintings are featured in two distinct types of puzzles: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are straightforward yet rewarding, especially for players aiming to collect extra resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Below is a comprehensive guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and the steps to solve them.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
To restore Morph Paintings, locate and place the correct paintings on their designated pedestals. Each pedestal has a description that matches a specific portrait. Use your Levitator utility to position the painting correctly. The game typically auto-switches to the Levitator, but you can manually equip it by pressing Tab or D-Pad Left if needed.
Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the quests Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
During the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore the three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower hosts a Morph Painting puzzle. Here's how to solve it, using the central large painting as a reference:
- Swap the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left slot.
- Place the painting behind the chairs on the right into the front-right slot.
Upon completing the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The Trials of Old quest involves navigating four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, players will encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to form a coherent narrative from left to right. The solution is illustrated in the image above.
A helpful tip to confirm correct placement is to check if the painting frame illuminates after insertion. This feature can simplify the puzzle-solving process.
