After months of anticipation fueled by rumors and hints, Activision has officially released the debut trailer for the much-awaited remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Developed by Iron Galaxy, who stepped in after Vicarious Visions—the studio responsible for the acclaimed THPS 1+2—this remake promises to thrill fans with enhanced graphics, the introduction of online multiplayer, and a roster of new playable characters including Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome. The trailer beautifully showcases reimagined iconic locations such as Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all brought to life with cutting-edge technology. It also offers a side-by-side comparison, highlighting the significant graphical leap from the original versions.
The game will feature legendary skaters like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen, though it appears Bam Margera will not be part of this edition. Fans opting for the Digital Deluxe edition will enjoy exclusive characters such as Doom Slayer and Revenant. Adding to the nostalgic feel, the developers have confirmed the return of part of the original soundtrack, featuring iconic tracks from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY.
Mark your calendars for July 11, when Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-order customers are in for a treat with access to a demo version in June and the chance to play the full game three days ahead of the official release date.
