EA has just unveiled an exciting new initiative called Battlefield Labs, which is essentially an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic Battlefield series. The developers have given fans a sneak peek by sharing a brief clip of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version, stirring anticipation among the community.
Participants in Battlefield Labs will have the unique opportunity to test core mechanics and concepts, though not all features tested will necessarily make it into the final product. To ensure confidentiality, all participants will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before diving into the various gameplay elements. The testing will include popular modes like Conquest and Breakthrough, with initial phases concentrating on combat dynamics and the game's signature destruction system, followed by balance testing to refine gameplay.
Pre-registration for Battlefield Labs is now open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series players. Over the coming weeks, EA plans to invite a few thousand players to join this exclusive testing group, with intentions to extend invitations to more regions as development progresses.
