NetherRealm and WB Games have released the official gameplay trailer for the T-1000, arriving in Mortal Kombat 1 next Tuesday. This liquid metal Terminator offers a unique playstyle, creatively dodging projectiles with his shape-shifting abilities. Fans of Kabal, absent from this iteration, will likely find much to enjoy, as several of his signature moves and weapons have been incorporated into the T-1000's arsenal.
The trailer is packed with nods to Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The T-1000’s iconic finger-wagging (a gesture famously banned in the NBA!) makes an appearance, as does his inquiry to Johnny Cage about John Connor. Alongside the T-1000, the trailer also showcases Madam Bo, another upcoming addition to the game's roster. The T-1000's Fatality is particularly brutal, showcasing his ability to transform and replace his victim, a chillingly efficient end to his mission.
While WB Games hasn't made further announcements, speculation is rife that this might be the final wave of DLC for Mortal Kombat 1, hinting at a potential announcement of a new game in the near future. However, this remains unconfirmed.
