Evercade Expands Super Pocket Handheld Line with Atari and Technos Editions

Evercade is adding to its popular Super Pocket line of handheld gaming consoles with new Atari and Technos editions, launching in October 2024. These new models will feature curated collections of classic games from each respective platform.

Adding to the excitement, a limited-edition wood-grain version of the Atari Super Pocket will be released, with only 2600 units available. These are expected to sell out quickly.

Official Retro Gaming on the Go

The Evercade system offers a legitimate alternative to emulation, providing officially licensed retro games without the high cost of secondhand purchases. The company has built a positive reputation for its approach to game preservation. While some might consider the limited-run wood-grain Atari console a marketing ploy, the appeal of physical cartridges and official releases remains strong.

The Evercade Super Pocket's compatibility with existing Evercade cartridges offers a convenient way to enjoy a portable retro gaming library. Players can easily switch between handheld and home console play.
