What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?
Originally released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1995 (Suikoden I) and 1998 (Suikoden II), these JRPG classics arrived in the West a year later. Each game centers around recruiting 108 warriors to build your army and fight against evil. This remaster retains the charm of the original pixel art while enhancing it for modern widescreen displays. Spell effects are smoother, character portraits are redrawn in HD, and the overall visual presentation is improved.
Beyond the visual upgrades, quality-of-life features include battle speed adjustments, an auto-battle mode, auto-save functionality, a conversation log, and a revamped UI for easier equipment management.
