Stalker 2: How To Complete The Joke Quest In Rookie Village

Author : Charlotte Mar 21,2025

In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, engaging with NPCs often unlocks small, rewarding quests. One such gem is found in Rookie Village, involving a character named Lyonchyk Sprat. This isn't your typical fetch quest; it's a comedic interlude that adds a touch of humor to the game's grim atmosphere. Easily missed if you're focused solely on the main storyline, this quest involves helping Lyonchyk deliver a joke to gain acceptance from a group of fellow stalkers.

How to Complete Lyonchyk Sprat's Joke Quest in Rookie Village

Lyonchyk Sprat in Rookie Village

Find Lyonchyk Sprat in Rookie Village (Cordon region). He'll initiate contact near the village center. His initial attempt at joke-telling will fall flat, leading to his request for your assistance. Agreeing to help begins the quest.

Delivering the Joke

Lyonchyk instructs you to take a position in the attic of a nearby house (you'll see a ladder). Once there, you'll be presented with several joke options. Selecting any option will result in a successful joke delivery and quest completion. The audience's reaction will vary depending on your choice, but the quest objective remains the same.

Your Reward

Reward from Lyonchyk Sprat

After the joke's success, return to Lyonchyk. He'll reward you with 900 coupons for your help in securing his place within the group. However, if you fail to choose a joke option and let Lyonchyk deliver the joke alone, the quest will fail. He'll flee in embarrassment, leaving you with nothing but a slightly less humorous experience.
