How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
As soon as you're set free in the expansive world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a personal bed becomes a top priority. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, you'll have the choice between following the blacksmith or the miller's storyline. Whichever path you choose, you'll be offered a bed by either Radovan or Kreyzl.
In my experience, I opted for Radovan, who is conveniently located in Tachov, closer to your initial starting point. To get your bed, simply proceed to Tachov, engage in Radovan's questline, and complete the smithing tutorial. Upon completion, you'll gain access to a room next to the forge, where your bed awaits.
This bed will be marked as yours on the world map, and you'll find an inventory chest in the room for storing your belongings. Whenever you're in need of healing, return to this sanctuary to rest and recover.
Sleeping at Campsites
There will be moments when you're too far from your personal bed to make it back in time. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with numerous campsites along roadsides and within forests. Be aware that some campsites may be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before you can rest. Others might be deserted and ready for use.
Once you locate a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can use the bedrolls to get some sleep. Keep in mind that these bedrolls won't offer the same level of comfort as a proper bed, but they'll suffice in a pinch.
In dire situations, you might also consider sleeping in an NPC's bed. However, be cautious; if caught, you might have to face the guards unless you can smooth-talk your way out of trouble.
That covers the essentials of sleeping in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more in-depth tips and tricks, including how to use a torch and the best perks to prioritize, be sure to check out The Escapist's comprehensive guides.
