Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise. The broadcast showcased the exciting free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players throughout the celebratory period.
The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses various bugs, boasts a revamped main menu, and includes performance optimizations. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a stylish makeover. These updated homes are immediately available for new game saves, while existing saves can access them via the in-game library.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 brand-new, free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will launch. Players can complete simple challenges to unlock retro-themed items and collect a new item set.
Further enhancing the celebration, a new season called "Motherlode" will debut in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details regarding the "Motherlode" season's content are currently being kept under wraps, adding an element of exciting anticipation.
