Secure Your Monster Hunter Wilds Pre-Order Bonuses Before It's Too Late!
With Monster Hunter Wilds launching February 28th, time is running out to secure your pre-order bonuses. This guide breaks down the pre-order incentives and various editions to help you decide which is right for you.
Platform Availability:
Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It will not be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 due to performance limitations. A potential Nintendo Switch 2 release remains unconfirmed.
Pre-Order Bonuses:
Pre-ordering before February 28th grants you the following:
- Guild Knight Layered Armor Set
- Talisman: Hope Charm
While the exact effects of the Hope Charm are undisclosed, it's expected to provide a stat boost.
Game Editions:
Several editions are available for pre-order, ranging from standard to extravagant collector's sets:

Standard Edition ($69.99): Base game and pre-order content. Available digitally and physically on consoles, and digitally on PC.

Deluxe Edition ($89.99): Includes the base game, pre-order content, and a wealth of cosmetic DLC: Feudal Soldier and Fencer layered armor sets, Oni Horns wig, Seikret decorations, Felyne Ashigaru layered armor, pendants, gestures, hairstyles, makeup options, sticker sets, and a nameplate.

Premium Deluxe Edition ($109.99): Contains everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus additional premium content released at launch and further DLC packs scheduled for Spring and Summer 2025. This includes more layered armor, pendants, gestures, hairstyles, makeup, sticker sets, BGM, and pop-up camp customizations.
Japan-Exclusive Collector's Editions:
Two physical Collector's Editions are currently exclusive to Japan:
- Collector's Edition ($68): Steelbook case, weapon bag, and a Seikret plush. Note: This edition does not include the game itself.
- Ultra Collector's Edition ($1,140): Includes the base game, pre-order content, the items from the Collector's Edition, and a Monster Hunter Wilds branded Dahon K9X folding bicycle. The bike ships separately around April 2025.
International shipping for the Collector's Editions is not directly supported by Capcom's Japanese store.
Early Reactions:
While full reviews are pending, early previews and beta feedback have been largely positive, praising the improved performance, streamlined gameplay, and attention to detail. Additional open betas are scheduled for February 7-10 and February 14-17.
