Pokémon GO's upcoming Max Out season introduces Dynamax Pokémon, bringing a giant-sized adventure to the game. This exciting season runs from September 10th, 10:00 a.m. local time to September 15th, 8:00 p.m. local time.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

Dynamax Debut:

The Max Out season kicks off with 1-star Max Battles featuring Dynamax versions of Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo. Trainers can battle and catch these Dynamax Pokémon, including their evolved forms, with a chance to encounter Shiny variants! Special Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases with event-themed rewards will also be available.

Special Research & Max Particles:

A Seasonal Special Research story focusing on Max Battles will reward trainers with Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more. This Special Research is available from September 3rd, 10:00 a.m. local time to December 3rd, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

Max Particle Pack & Power Spots:

A Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available on the Pokémon GO web store for $7.99 starting September 8th, 6:00 p.m. PDT. Rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Max Battles and Max Particle collection.

Mega Evolution & Gigantamax Possibilities:

Pokémon GO senior producer John Funtanilla hinted that some Dynamax-capable Pokémon will also be able to Mega Evolve. While Gigantamax Pokémon remain unconfirmed, Niantic promises further details on Dynamax battles soon. Prepare for a colossal Pokémon GO experience!
