NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its run. After a four-year stint on Android, the game will be discontinued. This news comes as a surprise to many players, though the PC and console versions remain unaffected.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience. Players could choose to be either the Killer, hunting down Survivors, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Date:

The game's final day is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue playing until the official shutdown date.

NetEase will provide details regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.

For those wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players transitioning from mobile. Loyalty rewards will also be granted to players who have made in-app purchases or accumulated significant experience points on the mobile version.

Before the servers go dark, consider downloading Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store for one last terrifying experience. For more gaming news, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
