Neko Atsume 2: A Purrfect Sequel to the Beloved Cat Collector Game

Neko Atsume, the charming cat-collecting game, has a sequel! Neko Atsume 2 offers even more adorable, fluffy felines. While the core gameplay remains similar to the original – leaving out treats and watching cats visit your yard – several exciting new features have been added.

New Features in Neko Atsume 2:

  • Social Interaction: Invite friends to visit your yard and explore theirs, exchanging codes to discover new cats and share the fun.

  • Helpful Cats: Certain cats now act as Helpers, assisting with yard management.

  • Myneko Customization: A customizable special cat, the Myneko, adds a personal touch.

  • Cat's Club Subscription: This optional subscription offers perks like multiple Mynekos and access to Aida, the Helper Cat. A free trial is available.

  • Newspaper Feature: Replaces the daily password system from the original game, providing 10 silver fish.

Gameplay:

Neko Atsume 2 maintains its relaxing gameplay loop. Place snacks and toys, wait for feline visitors (ranging from common to rare breeds), and record your encounters in the Catbook. Over 40 unique cat types await discovery, requiring strategic treat combinations to attract specific cats. Download Neko Atsume 2 from the Google Play Store.

While the initial selection of toys and decorations is smaller than the original, future updates promise more additions. Current options include a Tissue Box, Eco Bag, Baseball Ball, Gold Fish Statue, Cowboy Hat, and a Temari Ball.
