BioWare has seemingly abandoned plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC. A Rolling Stone report confirms that, according to creative director John Epler, no downloadable content is currently in development for Veilguard, citing its completion as the reason. BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect installment.
While specifics on future Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler did comment on the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged significant hurdles due to the use of EA's proprietary game engines in the original trilogy. Epler concluded, "It's something that's not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
