Captain America: Brave New World has arrived, prompting another look at the Marvel Cinematic Universe's impressive 35-film collection. But which MCU film reigns supreme in your heart? Do you cherish the early origin stories like Iron Man, or prefer the thrilling team-ups that culminated in the Infinity Saga? Share your preferences using the tier list tool below.
The sheer number of films makes choosing difficult. Remember, this list only includes entries from Kevin Feige's MCU, excluding Sony's Marvel films (sorry, X-Men, except Wolverine). My personal tier list, reflecting my viewing enjoyment, is shown here:
Sadly, Brave New World falls short of expectations for me, landing in the D tier due to what I consider the MCU's most cumbersome script yet. My placement of 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine in the bottom tier might surprise some, but it simply didn't resonate with me. (My detailed reasoning can be found here.) While not the MCU's absolute worst, it's easily surpassed by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which occupies the D tier with equal ease.
Conversely, the top tier features five exceptional films. Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier comfortably sit in S-tier, effectively exploring the MCU's emotional core and paranoid espionage themes. Thor: Ragnarok stands out as one of the funniest comedies of the last decade, and Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame deliver a spectacular conclusion to the franchise's most crucial chapter.
Disagree? Believe No Way Home is the best of the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy? Should Black Panther be S-tier? Create your own MCU movie tier list below, comparing your rankings (S, A, B, C, and D tiers) with the IGN community.
