KonoSuba: Fantastic Days has announced it will end its service on January 30th, 2025. After a nearly five-year run, this RPG by Sesisoft is shutting down both its global and Japanese servers on the same day. But there’s a silver lining to the EOS.And even though it’s coming to an end, a limited offline version is apparently in works. It will let you keep the memories of KonoSuba: Fantastic Days with the main storyline, major quests and events. The devs haven’t shared any more details about it yet, so it’s uncertain if this will actually happen. What About the Store and Refunds? The devs are taking the shutdown gracefully. The official channels are closing up on February 28th, 2025. Meanwhile, all in-app purchases have already been disabled as of October 31st, 2024.However, Quartz and other items bought in-game can be used until the service ends. If you’re eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024, you can apply until January 30th, 2025.Ever Played KonoSuba: Fantastic Days?It was released in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021. It was the first mobile game based on KonoSuba. The story is set in a world threatened by the Devil King’s army. The storytelling was charming, and the game’s visuals and VN-style story mode were good. But just like most other gacha RPGs, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days has met the same fate. This year, a lot of anime games were shut down. Some struggled to maintain player interest, while others couldn’t keep up with the costs of high production values.Anyhoow, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days shutting down and you only have a few more months to try it out, if you haven’t already.
