Jurassic World Dominion incorporates a previously unused scene from Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park novel, screenwriter David Koepp has confirmed. In an interview with Variety, Koepp, who penned the screenplay for the 1993 film and returned for Dominion, explained that revisiting Crichton's work provided inspiration for the latest sequel, lacking its own source material.
Koepp revealed that a sequence from the first novel, deemed unsuitable for the original film due to time constraints, finally found its way onto the screen in Dominion. While he remained tight-lipped about the specific scene, fan speculation has already begun.
Warning! Spoilers for the original Jurassic Park novel and possibly Jurassic World Dominion may follow.
