Before embarking on "Under the Straw Hat," you must initiate the side quest "In Vino Veritas," which is set in Kuttenberg. Upon your arrival, locate Casper Rudolf on the west side of the city, where he's offering free wine samples. He tasks you with gathering information to enhance his wine.

You have two paths to gather this information: you can either impress Havel directly with your wine knowledge or retrieve Casper's book from Adleta to learn more about wine. If you choose to approach Havel directly, ensure you're well-dressed and clean, as he won't entertain you otherwise. During your conversation with Havel, select "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It’s missing ginger" as your responses to extract the necessary information. Return to Casper with these details.

Access the Vineyard

Next, Casper will ask you to infiltrate a vineyard north of Kuttenberg to learn more about the incense Havel mentioned. Avoid trespassing by following the main road into the vineyard and speak with the recruiter, who will officially start the "Under the Straw Hat" quest. Continue along the road, pass the guard at the estate's entrance, and find Jerome on a bench. Inform Jerome that you've been instructed to report there, and he'll provide you with details about working at the vineyard.

Working at the Vineyard

Your job at the vineyard begins the following day. Return to the vineyard in the morning after resting. To earn your pay, you'll need to move sacks to their designated spots and pick plants like Thistle around the vines. However, if you're solely focused on the quest, head straight to the wine cellar for the secret incense.

The wine cellar is located downstairs in the main building, near where you met Jerome. Accessing it requires either a lockpick or stealing keys from Jerome. Inside the cellar, locate a chest and take all the Sulphur Wicks within it, completing the main objective. Optionally, you can also collect seedlings for Casper to increase your reward. From the main building's entrance, head straight across to find the seedlings, but be swift as this area is restricted.

If you choose to work, report to Jerome at day's end for your payment. Otherwise, return to Casper with the wicks and, if collected, the seedlings.

By completing these steps, you'll successfully finish both "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can delve into other side quests like "Master Schindel’s Toys."
