Guide: Completing Storm in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Author : Layla Apr 04,2025

Stealth is a crucial strategy in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, particularly for certain quests where it's the most effective approach. If you're aiming to complete the "Storm" quest, mastering the art of sneaking is essential.

How To Start 'Storm' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

"Storm" marks a pivotal moment in the game, serving as a bridge between the Trosky and Kuttenberg Regions. As you embark on this quest, you'll find yourself in a challenging situation, similar to "For Whom the Bell Tolls." You'll be without your armor, weapons, or essential items like Saviour Schnapps, and your health and stamina will be compromised due to prior torture.

Begin by scavenging gear from the guards that Katherine neutralized during your prison break. While the equipment isn't top-notch, it's better than nothing. Katherine also provides you with her dagger, enabling you to perform stealth kills. Your next objective is to reach the top of the Crone in Trosky. The guards are spaced out enough that you can either knock them out or use distractions to sneak past them.

At the summit, you'll confront Istvan Toth. This encounter doesn't affect the quest's outcome, so consider taking the less honorable route if you're unsure about your combat skills. Engaging Toth in a duel could lead to an early demise given your weakened state. After dealing with him, search the room to reclaim everyone's belongings and gather crucial documents.

How To Escape Trosky in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you've handled Toth and retrieved your gear, head back to the dungeon to reunite with your companions. They'll equip their items and guide you through the escape tunnels, making this part of the quest straightforward.

The next phase of "Storm" can be quite challenging. You'll need to keep your conspicuousness to a minimum to avoid detection by the guards, who will alert others if they spot you. Your reduced stats from the torture make stealth kills and knockouts more difficult.

Start by taking the right path and follow it uphill. This leads to a larger path patrolled by guards, but it's the route to Mika, who has been captured. Sneak up behind the guard, take him out, and free Mika. This action saves your progress and provides you with Mika's directions for the next phase.

How To Finish 'Storm' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The final stretch of "Storm" requires prolonged stealth. Follow the locations marked on your map according to Mika's instructions. Head towards the edge of the region, moving east and southeast to reach the main road in Apollonia. Stay on the outskirts and use the bushes for cover to evade the guards. You only need to reach about halfway through the marked area to trigger the ending cutscene. Use stones to distract guards and slip past them. Once the cutscene plays, your part in "Storm" concludes, and you'll proceed to the Kuttenberg Region.

"Storm" is one of the few quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* where stealth is not just an option but a necessity. Prioritizing stealth skill development before this quest can significantly enhance your chances of success.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
