Free City is a new game on Android that’s a lot (A LOT) like Grand Theft Auto. There are gangsters, a huge open world to explore and a great lineup of firearms and vehicles. VPlay Interactive Games has developed the game.Free City Lets You Roam Freely!Set in a Western gangster world, you rule the streets with your crew, take down rival bosses and engage in some wild shootouts. The game gives you the ultimate freedom to do whatever you want. And that includes pulling off bank heists and taking part in stealthy undercover operations.Free City offers a high level of customization. You can tweak your character’s look down to the smallest detail, like hairstyles, body shape and wardrobe options. You can even customise your firearms and vehicles as you want. The game offers PvP battles and lets you team up with friends for co-op missions. From chaotic bumper car battles to racing around in fire trucks, there are a lot of over-the-top activities. The city itself is your playground with a variety of missions and side activities. There are also tons of garage and weapon options to try. And there’s a storyline about gangs with fierce competition over taking control of the city. You even get voiceovers during interactive elements (just like GTA).Will You Try It Out?This gangster adventure was opened on early access on Android in a few Southeast Asian countries in March 2024. Interestingly, it was named as City of Outlaws back then. I wonder why they changed the title to Free City. Also, the new name actually reminds me of the 2021 Ryan Reynolds movie, Free Guy. If you’ve watched it, you know that the open-world game in the story was called ‘Free City’ and was also inspired by games like GTA and SimCity.Anyway, if you’re looking for a new open-world game with detailed real-world environments, check out Free City from the Google Play Store. Before heading out, read our news on RuneScape’s New Story Quest, Ode of the Devourer.
