Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title: a narrative-driven puzzle adventure inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the recent revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to bring his vision to life. The game features classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging players to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore stunning, albeit uniquely rendered, environments. Alameen cites influences ranging from the atmospheric worlds of Myst and Heaven's Vault to the chilling tales of H.P. Lovecraft.
Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, Alameen achieved high-fidelity visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
"My Father Lied" will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
