The new season of [game name] kicks off with the arrival of the Fantastic Four! Adding 33 heroes in a single month is impressive, but the developers are already treating players to a brand-new quartet. Two—Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman—have already joined the fray, with Thing and Human Torch set to arrive later, bolstering the team as a tank and duelist, respectively. They'll also be part of the exciting Team-Up Fantastic Four mechanic.

The initial additions, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, bring unique gameplay styles to the battlefield. The Team-Up feature enhances Invisible Woman's healing capabilities, while Mister Fantastic gains a rapid health restoration ability.
Invisible Woman
With relatively few support characters currently in the game, Invisible Woman offers a welcome addition for players who prefer this role. Her attacks pierce through multiple targets, damaging opponents while simultaneously healing allies—a highly effective tactic in crowded combat situations. While her range is limited, maintaining proximity to teammates is key to maximizing her effectiveness.

Invisible Woman's invisibility is a unique feature, but achieving it requires six seconds of inactivity, making it a situational tactic. However, she heals while invisible. A more practical approach to invisibility involves her double jump, a crucial escape mechanism best saved for critical moments. Her abilities also include placing a protective shield on an ally, attracting or repelling opponents, and deploying a damaging sphere that pulls enemies into a designated area. While her melee attacks push opponents, this is often less effective than her other defensive options.
Her ultimate ability creates a healing and invisibility zone for her team, but its stationary nature makes it vulnerable to area-of-effect attacks. Overall, Invisible Woman provides a balanced and tactically interesting support character, comparable in effectiveness to existing heroes like Luna Snow and Mantis.
Mister Fantastic
Mister Fantastic offers a unique and entertaining playstyle. His medium-range attacks can hit multiple enemies with well-placed shots. As he uses abilities and attacks, a meter fills, triggering a powerful inflated form that significantly boosts his damage and durability.

He can switch to a damage-absorbing form, releasing absorbed damage with a powerful shot. He can also attract characters, gaining a shield while doing so. Attracting an ally provides a shield, while attracting an opponent inflicts damage. His right-click ability immobilizes opponents, allowing for further manipulation. His ultimate ability involves a damaging area-of-effect jump attack with a follow-up strike if at least one opponent is hit.
Mister Fantastic blends duelist and tank elements, offering a strong, albeit not top-tier, gameplay experience. Both new heroes showcase the developers' commitment to creating unique characters, and anticipation builds for the upcoming additions to the Fantastic Four roster.
