Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling narrative and unique mechanics create a truly immersive experience. A key element of this experience is the Tachyon Medal, a powerful late-game item central to a challenging side quest. This guide details how to acquire and utilize this crucial item.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's acquisition is a significant undertaking, occurring towards the game's conclusion, right before the final boss encounter. The journey begins in Sanctum, within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, players face God's Predator, a formidable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack (90% HP drain), necessitating strategic healing (Kina is recommended). Equipping Petrification Null gear is highly advisable.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Cherryl, with her Concentrate and Charge abilities, also delivers significant damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the debris, a chest on your right holds the coveted Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's true potential unfolds after completing two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and conquering the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two being part of the main storyline:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. Upon their final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests beneath the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).
Opening all three chests activates a glowing door, prompting the use of the Tachyon Medal to reverse time and initiate NG+ mode. This carries over all levels, items, and equipment, although enemies are significantly stronger. This challenge is mitigated by completing all side quests beforehand. Successfully using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing players to restart their journey to save the Human Realm.
