Electronic Arts has revealed the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.
Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's historical release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. EA, however, remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.
Development is underway at four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, providing crucial early feedback to shape the final product. Data gathered from beta participants will be instrumental in refining the game before its official debut.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is unlikely in the near future, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
