BioWare invested approximately 200,000 hours in performance and compatibility testing—40% of their total platform testing—ensuring a smooth experience. Further, nearly 10,000 hours were dedicated to user research, refining controls and UI across various setups.

The result? Native support for PS5 DualSense controllers (with haptic feedback), Xbox controllers, and keyboard/mouse, with seamless switching between input methods mid-game. Customizable class-specific keybinds offer personalized control. Visual fidelity is boosted with support for 21:9 ultrawide displays, a cinematic aspect ratio toggle, adjustable field of view (FOV), uncapped frame rates, full HDR, and ray tracing.
