Dark and Darker Mobile's Canadian soft launch is imminent, set for February 5th. A global release is anticipated in the first half of 2024. Pre-registration remains open, with further refinements and new features planned.
Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, will initially launch in Canada on February 5th. However, a worldwide launch is expected to follow shortly thereafter, sometime during the first half of the year.
For the uninitiated, Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler gameplay. Players, solo or in parties, assume the roles of various fantasy archetypes (fighters, rogues, barbarians, etc.) and navigate a sprawling dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure valuable loot.
Ironmace's PC version generated significant buzz, prompting Krafton to secure the mobile adaptation rights. With the global launch approaching, several improvements are underway.
Enhanced Gameplay
Planned enhancements include revisions to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, alongside dungeon structural overhauls to facilitate party play. Class distinctions will be sharpened via improved basic attacks and combat mechanics, complemented by an expanded arsenal of weapons and skills.
