Cyberpunk's Lucy Joins Guilty Gear Fight

Guilty Gear Strive’s 4th Season introduces a novel 3v3 Team Mode, returning combatants, Dizzy and Venom, fresh characters, Unika, and Cyberpunk Edgerunners' Lucy. Discover more about the new game mode, forthcoming characters and Lucy’s debut in Season 4.

Season 4 Pass Announcement

Arc System Works' Guilty Gear Strive is set to launch Season 4 with a thrilling new 3v3 Team Mode. In this mode, 6 players will participate in team battles, providing a more demanding experience and diverse character combinations. Season 4 also sees the return of popular characters from Guilty Gear X, Dizzy and Venom, and welcomes Unika from the forthcoming Guilty Gear Strive-Dual Rulers and Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

With the addition of a fresh team mode, forthcoming characters, and a crossover, Season 4 will offer a unique appeal and innovative gameplay sure to captivate new and veteran players.

New 3v3 Team Mode

The 3v3 Team Mode is a prominent feature in Guilty Gear Season 4, where teams of 3 players clash. This format lets players leverage strengths, mitigate weaknesses, and fosters more tactical, matchup-focused engagements. Guilty Gear Strive's 4th Season also introduces "Break-Ins," potent special moves unique to each character, usable only once per match.

The 3v3 mode is currently in Open Beta, inviting players to test and offer crucial feedback on this exciting addition.

New and Returning Characters

Queen Dizzy
A returning character from Guilty Gear X, Dizzy rejoins the fight with a more majestic appearance, hinting at intriguing lore developments. Queen Dizzy is a versatile fighter with a blend of ranged and melee attacks that adapt to opponents' styles. Queen Dizzy will be available in October 2024.

Venom
Venom, the billiards expert, also returns from Guilty Gear X. Venom will add another layer of tactical depth to Guilty Gear Strive by using billiard balls to manipulate the battlefield. Venom's precise, setup-based gameplay makes him a challenging yet rewarding character for strategic players. Venom will be available Early 2025.

Unika
Unika is the newest roster addition, hailing from Guilty Gear -Strive- Dual Rulers, an anime adaptation of the Guilty Gear universe. Unika will be available in 2025.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Crossover, Lucy

The best part of the Season 4 Pass is Lucy, the inaugural guest character in Guilty Gear Strive and a surprising addition. This isn't the first time CD Projekt Red, the creators of Cyberpunk 2077, has incorporated characters from their games into fighting games, however: The Witcher's Geralt was on the roster in Soul Calibur VI.

Players can anticipate a technical character in Lucy and it's exciting how her cybernetic augmentations and netrunning abilities will be introduced to Guilty Gear Strive. Lucy will join the roster in 2025.
