Finnish game developer Kuuasema has unveiled their latest project, Cthulu Keeper, a comedic strategy game that draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's eerie universe, with hints of Bullfrog's 1997 classic, Dungeon Keeper. This eagerly awaited title is currently in development for PC and promises a thrilling experience set in the 1920s.
In Cthulu Keeper, players will embark on a journey to build and manage their own cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the world. The game challenges you to construct a sinister lair, delve into dark research, and summon a variety of Lovecraftian monsters. Expand your influence by recruiting devoted cultists, canvassing the streets, and achieving various objectives. However, be prepared to defend your lair against rival cults and the ever-watchful authorities using an array of traps and spells.
