The Plasma Burst Laser, a new addition to the Lawless season, excels at breaching Vaults scattered across the map. However, as an Epic item, it's not readily available. Your best bet is searching POIs with Vaults, such as Crime City, known for its abundance of Go Bags and Chests. Alternatively, two Black Markets offer the Plasma Burst Laser for 600 Gold. While the Black Market south of Seaport City is an option, the one near Magic Mosses is more strategically advantageous, as the next challenge requires a return trip to Joss's lab for sample analysis.

Collecting Mineral Samples Using the Plasma Burst Laser
Equipped with your Epic weapon, locate a destructible stone structure. Note that not just any stone will do; the structure must be breakable with your Pickaxe. Target the stone structure with your Plasma Burst Laser and blast away. Once destroyed, a small piece of rock containing the mineral samples will appear on the ground. Interact with it to complete the quest objective.
From there, the game conveniently marks Joss's lab on your map. Head back, interact with the designated spot, earn your well-deserved XP, and complete the Wanted: Joss Outlaw Quests. Now get back to the action and show off your newly acquired loot!
