City-Building Sim Stronghold Castles Is Now Out On Android!

Firefly Studios, renowned creators of the popular Stronghold series, has launched a new mobile title: Stronghold Castles. This latest installment retains the series' core gameplay loop of building, farming, and battling.

Fortify Your Fortress!

In Stronghold Castles, you assume the role of a medieval lord or lady, tasked with transforming a humble village into a powerful kingdom. You'll oversee agriculture, mining, weapons production, and resource management. Keep your peasants happy (or at least productive) through judicious taxation (and perhaps a touch of medieval discipline). Construct your castle to your liking, from a trap-laden wooden fortress to a formidable stone behemoth.

Once your defenses are established, engage in thrilling PvP battles. Command knights, archers, and infantry to conquer rival lords and plunder their resources. Your ultimate objective: restore your Manor Hall to its former glory.

The game features iconic Stronghold enemies—rats, pigs, snakes, and wolves—in fast-paced, tactical battles. Lay siege to opponents' castles, loot their riches, and use your spoils to enhance your kingdom.

Unfamiliar with Stronghold?

The Stronghold series comprises real-time strategy games set in the medieval era. The original Stronghold debuted in 2001, followed by well-received spin-offs like Stronghold Crusader (2002), Stronghold Crusader Extreme (2008), and Stronghold Kingdoms (2012).

Stronghold Castles marks the series' first mobile entry. It's free-to-play and available on the Google Play Store.
