The Sims 4's latest update brings back a classic antagonist: the Burglar, now known as Robin Banks! This nocturnal thief targets Sims' homes, attempting to steal valuable items. Here's how to deal with this unwelcome guest.
Robin Banks' appearances are infrequent, but activating the new "Heist Havoc" Lot Challenge increases the chances of a visit, albeit with increased alarm malfunctions aiding her escape.
Catching the Burglar:
If you're lucky enough to catch Robin Banks in the act, several methods exist. The simplest is calling the police – a welcome return in this update. Alternatively, Sims can engage in fisticuffs, with fitter Sims having a clear advantage.
Several expansion packs offer unique defensive options:
- Dogs: Can chase the burglar away (requires The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs).
- Werewolves: Can intimidate her into leaving (requires The Sims 4 Werewolves Game Pack).
- Spellcasters: Possess various spells, from confusion to transformations (requires The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Game Pack).
- Servos: Can use their defense matrix to immobilize her (requires The Sims 4 Discover University Expansion Pack).
- Scientists: Can employ the Freeze Ray (requires The Sims 4 Get to Work Expansion Pack).
- Vampires: Can enjoy a quick snack before ordering her departure (requires The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack).
Adding a Burglar Alarm is another effective preventative measure.
The Sims 4 is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
