LEGO Fortnite Odyssey's Storm King: A Guide to Defeat

The newly rebranded LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, featuring the Storm Chasers update, introduces a formidable new boss: the Storm King. This guide details how to locate and conquer this challenging adversary.

Locating the Storm King

The Storm King won't appear until significant progress is made through the Storm Chasers update's quests. These quests begin by speaking with Kayden, who reveals the location of the Storm Chaser base camp. From there, players must venture into a storm, identifiable by purple glowing vortices scattered across the map, to advance the questline.

The final quests involve defeating Raven and activating the Tempest Gateway. After assisting the Storm Chasers and eliminating several Storm Crawlers, Raven's hideout will be marked on the map. This battle requires dodging dynamite and blocking melee attacks while using a crossbow to defeat him.

Activating the Tempest Gateway requires at least 10 Eye of the Storm items, obtainable from defeating Raven, upgrading the base camp, and exploring Storm Dungeons.

Defeating the Storm King

With the Tempest Gateway powered, the Storm King battle begins. This raid-boss-style fight involves targeting glowing yellow weak points on the Storm King's body. He becomes increasingly aggressive after each weak point is destroyed. Utilize stuns to unleash powerful melee attacks.

The Storm King employs various attacks: a laser from his glowing mouth (dodge left or right), meteors, thrown rocks (anticipate trajectories), and a ground pound (back away). Direct hits can quickly eliminate players.

Once all weak points are destroyed, the Storm King's armor breaks, leaving him vulnerable for the final assault. Maintain pressure, remain aware of his attacks, and the Storm King will fall.

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey is available on multiple platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
