Author : Christopher Jan 17,2025

Hogwarts Legacy continues to delight players with its hidden features, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the wizarding world. One such detail is the ability to rename rescued beasts, adding a personal touch to the experience. This guide explains how to give your magical creatures unique nicknames.

Renaming Your Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy

Follow these simple steps to rename your rescued beasts:

  1. Head to your Vivarium located in the Room of Requirement within Hogwarts Castle.
  2. Ensure the beast you wish to rename is present. If it's in your inventory, summon it using the Beast Inventory menu.
  3. Interact with the beast to access its information panel.
  4. Locate and select the "Rename" option within this menu.
  5. Enter your chosen nickname and confirm your selection.
  6. The nickname will now appear when you interact with the beast.

This renaming feature offers significant advantages, particularly for managing and tracking your collection, especially rare beasts. You can even change nicknames as often as you like – there are no limitations! Personalizing your beasts with unique names enhances your sense of ownership and provides another layer of customization often overlooked.
