The game spans five rounds, with each round consisting of 13 tricks. Players must follow suit when playing cards, with Spades serving as the default trump. Rummy - Indian and Nepali
Rummy, a favorite in India and Nepal, is played with ten cards in Nepal and 13 in India among two to five players. The objective is to arrange cards into sequences and sets, using a Joker for added strategy after forming a Pure Sequence. Players draw and discard cards until one achieves the winning arrangement. Indian Rummy ends after one round, while Nepali Rummy may continue through multiple rounds.
29 Card Game
29 is a thrilling trick-taking card game for four players divided into two teams. Players bid in an anti-clockwise direction, with the highest bidder setting the trump suit. The team of the Bid Winner earns a point for winning the round, or loses a point for failing. Special scoring applies to the 6 of Hearts or Diamonds (positive) and 6 of Spades or Clubs (negative). A team wins by reaching 6 points or forcing the opponents to -6 points.
Kitti - 9 Cards Game
Kitti challenges players to arrange nine cards into three groups of three. In a game for 2-5 players, the arranged cards are compared in three shows per round. A player must win consecutive shows to claim victory; otherwise, the round is declared a 'Kitti,' and cards are reshuffled.
Dhumbal
Dhumbal is a light-hearted game for 2-5 players, each dealt five cards. The goal is to minimize the sum of card values by forming pure sequences or matching numbers. Players can reveal their cards when their total is at or below the target minimum, with the lowest sum winning the game.
