BASE: A football-powered learning app for schools
BASE is a teacher's invaluable classroom companion. This innovative app transforms learning into an engaging game, ensuring children master the same curriculum through playful competition. The app's initial rollout features a three-season structure, mirroring a sports tournament. Each season comprises four competitive levels—Regional, National, Continental, and World—preceded by a Pre-Season. These tournaments present varying numbers and difficulty levels of questions, referred to as "matches." Gamification elements like coins, points, and trophies maintain children's engagement and encourage participation.
Developed collaboratively by the Vini.Jr Institute and the faculty of Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School, BASE's educational technology initially targets elementary school students (grades 1-5), ages 6-10. Leveraging the appeal of sports and the convenience of technology, BASE makes learning fun and accessible. All questions adhere to the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC).
